Picking up the Pieces
This new work is a reflection of what has been and walking through to the otherside, while most all of my art the last few years has been strongly influenced by music and the emotions attached to lyrics. Sometimes it is one line that says it all, sometimes the interpretation of the listener, just as visual art speaks to us all differently.
Using repurposed archived watercolurs as my palette I tear or cut into small pieces and assemble in a mosaic format, these are time consuming and therapeutic.
